Glossary of Terms

Split at Middle, Controls Left
Blinds will split at the middle when drawn and the controls will be on the left.

1 1/2" Sliding Panel Wide Bound Edge
Sliding Panel Wide Bound Edge is available for an additional charge. These are 1 1/2 Inches wide and add a bold look to the product.

1 1/2" Wide Edge Bindings
These are an upgrade for Prestige Woven Wood shades. This will add Deluxe Wide Edge Bindings to your order. This will add to the price of the shade.

1 1/8 Inch Deco Tapes
This option will add 1 1/8 incn cloth tapes to your blind. There are many different patterns and colors for this option. This option will add to the price of your blind.

1 3/8 inch slats
The slat size for this product will be 1 3/8 inch wide, This may be an extra charge.

1 and 1 1/2 Inch Solid Tapes
This option will add 1 or 1 1/2 Inch tapes to your blind. This option will add to the price of your blind.

1 Inch Plain Tapes
This option will add 1 inch cloth tapes to your blind. This option will add to the price of your blind.

1 Inch Wood Valance
The standard valance that comes on all 1 inch wood blinds.

1-Inch Headrail
This blind has a headrail size option. Selecting this size will have your blinds made with a 1" headrail. If this is not the size you want, select the 2" headrail option. There is no extra charge for this.

1-Touch Wand (1-way draw only)
The One-Touch Wand Control can be added. This is an additional option. The price for this is $5.00 per blind.

1/2" Bound Edge
A cloth fabric that is bound to the edges of a woven wood shade. This is not available on all shades. Available in 12 colors. This option will add to the price of the shade.

1/2" Sliding Panel Bound Edge
A Bound edge color must be picked for Sliding panels and there is no extra charge for this. These are 1/2 inch wide.

10 Inch Satellite Eye
This is to be used on motorized shades when you will be placing a top treatment over your shade and the sensor will be covered. This option is only for motorized shades. This will add to the price of the shade.

2 1/2 inch Crescent Valance
The standard valance that will come with the window treatment. There is no extra charge for this.

2 1/2" Louver
The size of the shutter louver will be 2 1/2 Inches wide.

2 3/8 inch Slats
The slat size for this product will be 2 3/8 inches wide. This may be an extra charge.

2 Blinds on 1 Headrail

Blinds that exceed the maximum width of the product cannot be made as one single blind. Blinds that are in the shaded area of the price charts must be made as a two or three blinds on one headrail. You may want to also use this option even if the blind does not exceed the maximum width in some cases. Standard spacing between blind is approximately one half inch. You will also need to specify the controls for each blind of the two-on-one headrail. This will add to the price of the blind or shade.

2 inch louvers
The width of the vertical louver is 2 inches. Most vertical louvers are 3 1/2 inches.

2 Shades on 1 Headrail

Shades that exceed the maximum width of the product cannot be made as one single shade. Shades that are in the shaded area of the price charts must be made as a two shades on one headrail. You may want to also use this option even if the shade does not exceed the maximum width in some cases. Standard spacing between shades is approximately one half inch. You will also need to specify the controls for each shade of the two-on-one headrail.

2-Inch Deco Frame
This frame is for outside mount shutters only and will add to the price as it will add 2 inches on each side to the square foot price.

2-Inch Headrail
This blind has a headrail size option. Selecting this size will have your blinds made with a 2" headrail. If this is not the size you want, select the 1" headrail option. There is no extra charge for this.

3 1/2 standard vertical valance
The standard valance that comes with the blind at no additional charge.

3 1/2" Louver
The size of the shutter louver will be 3 1/2 Inches wide.

3 1/4" Majestic Valance
The standard valance that comes on all Decorating Depot Budget Fauxwood blinds.

3 Blinds on 1 Headrail

3 Shades on 1 Headrail

3" Faux Crown Valance
The standard valance that comes with all Decorating Depot Premium Faux Wood blinds.

3/4 Inch Tapes
This will add 3/4" cloth tapes to the blind. This will add to the price of the blind.

4 1/2" Louvers
There is an upcharge of 15% for this size shutter louver.

6' Extention Pole
An extension pole to reach skylight shades. This pole is an additional $20.00

8-gauge aluminum
The standard gauge (thickness) of an aluminum mini blind slat is 6- gauge. This option will add 8-gauge slats to your blind. this will add to the price of the blind.

9' Extention Pole
An extension pole to reach skylight shades. This pole is an additional $30.00

Additional Options
All of the additional options for this product are listed below. Please note that some of these will add to the cost of your blind or shade.

Alta 3 inch wood valance
The standard valance that comes on all Alta M&B wood blinds.

Alta Decorative 2 Inch Valance
Standard on all Alta 1 3/8 Inch wood blinds.

Alta mini valance
The standard valance that comes on Alta mini blinds.

Alta Standard Valance
The standard covering for the product to cover the headrail and hardware.

Angle Shades
Shades that have a left or right angle to them.

Angle Top / Angle Bottom
For angle windows. The shade will be made on an angle to fit the window. A template of the window will be required. This will add to the price of the shade.

Arbour Imperial Valance
Arbour Imperial Valance upgrade. A 3 1/2 Inch wood valance for Arbour wood blinds. This will add to the cost of the blind.

Arbour Mystic Wood Valance
The standard Valance that comes on the blind. There is no extra charge for this.

Arch Shades
This option is for Arch (Half Circle) shades. This will add to the price of the shade. A template will be needed for all non-perfect arches. A perfect arch is the height being exactly half the size of the width. Example: 72X36

Auto-mate Motorization (tilt only)
Auto-mate will add an automated tilt function to your blind. You will also need a remote control (only one is needed no matter how many blinds you have). This will add to the cost of the blind.

AutoWand (N/A on BackStacker)
The AutoWand feature eliminates dangling cords and Chains providing safe and smooth operation. Not available with BackStacker feature.

Available Colors

The colors that are available for this product are listed below. Click on any image to enlarge it. (The color will pop up in another window, so if you are running a "pop up" blocker or other type of software or program that does not allow this to happen, you will need to disable that first) You can also click the "Order Sample" link to order a sample of this product. Bali 2 Inch Edge Banding
Adds a 2" edge banding to the shade. This will add to the price of the shade.

Bali Casual Classics Valance
A matching valance can be added to the Bali Casual Classics Roman Shades. This will add to the price.

Bali Looped Roman Option
This will add the Bali Looped Roman option to the Woven Wood Shade. The shade will have Roman folds instead of being flet like the standard shade. This will add to the price of the shade.

Bali standard Wood Valance
The standard valance that comes with the blind.

Bali Traditional Valance
A valance upgrade for Bali Northern Heights wood blinds.

Bali Victorian Valance
A valance upgrade for Bali Northern Heights wood blinds.

Bali Windsor Valance
A valance upgrade for Bali Northern Heights wood blinds.

Bali Wood Images Valance
The standard valance that comes with the blind.

Bali WoodPlus Valance
The standard valance that comes with the blind.

Bali Woven Hem Styles
You can add a custom hem to your valance by selecting this option. You will need to specify which hem style you want in the "special notes" section of the shopping cart at the time of your order. Please choose either Dentil, Cathedral, Horizon or Seascape. This will add to the price of the shade.

Ball Finial
A matching ball finial for the end of the Fascia

Basic Vertical Valance
The standard valance that comes with the vertical blind. There is no charge for this.

basswood
The best wood for making wood blinds, because of its strength and stability.

Beaded Chain Roller
A mechanical clutch system that uses continuous chain to lift the shade instead of a spring roller. This option will be priced at a higher price that the spring roller shade.

Black
Fascia will be Black

Blackout Liner
Select this option to add a blackout liner to the shade. This will add to the price of the shade.

Bottom Chain And Clip (fabric only)
Used on fabric free hang verticals to hold the weights in. This is an option, and will add to the price of the blind. Blind will come standard with sewn in weights unless this option is selected.

bottomrail
The thick portion at the bottom of the blind or shade that supports the blind or shade.

Bristol Deluxe Valance
The standard valance on Everwood X-tra blinds. A valance upgrade on standard Everwood blinds.

Card Verification Value

New security feature for online shoppers!

The part of the headrail where the louvers of the blind attach to.

Cassette Headrail (Chain Roller Left)
Adds a decorative aluminum headrail with matching fabric insert to the shade. Also includes a Beaded Chain Roller with Left side control.

Cassette Headrail (Chain Roller Right)
Adds a decorative aluminum headrail with matching fabric insert to the shade. Also includes a Beaded Chain Roller with right side control.

Cellular Verticals
Like the Hunter Douglas Vertiglide. Cellular verticals are cellular shades turned sideways and put on a tracking system like a vertical blind. For matching cellular verticals look under "specialty verticals" on the blind home page.

Center Opening
Blinds will divide in the middle and stack to each side when drawn.

Century Crown faux wood valance
Matching Century Crown wood valance included at no additional charge.

Century Crown wood valance
The standard valance that comes on all Century wood blinds. There is no additional charge for this option.

Century Rounded Corner Valance
An option for Century vertical blinds. Instead of the traditional square corner valance, valance will be rounded on the ends.

Century Standard Valance
A valance option for all century vertical blinds.

Chain Roller Control Left
A beaded chain clutch roller system option. This will add to the price of the shade (unless included in price).

Chain Roller Control Right
A beaded chain clutch roller system option. This will add to the price of the shade (unless included in price).

Chalet Wood Valance
The valance that comes standard on Hunter Douglas Chalet wood blinds.

Chancellor Valance
A valance upgrade for Chalet wood blinds.

channel panel
A PVC backing with clear edges that the fabric will be inserted into.

Channel Valance
This is the standard valance that comes with this blind. There is no charge for this.

Cherry
The Fascia will be stained Cherry.

Choose split-draw option on next page
Check this box to choose a split draw option on the options screen on the next page. This will add to the price of the blind. There is no extra charge for one-way draws.

Classic Fancy Tapes (Not on Routless)
This will add the Classic Fancy tape option to your order. This will add to the price of your blind.

Classic Roman Style
This will add the classic style roman option to your shade. By slecting this option your shade will be made as a classic roman. The fabric will waterfall from the front of the headrail, with no horizontal seams or stitching. This is great for large patterns that look best without interuption. Please see specifications tab for more about this option. This will add to the price of the shade.

ClearGuard Groover
This will add Levolor ClearGuard Groover to the fabric vertical blind. This option is for fabric vertical blinds only.

clutch roller
A device used to raise and lower the shade. Uses a chain and gear system for easy operation.

Color Coordinated Gimp Binding
A color coordinated gimp binding will be added to the shade.

Color Faces Left
This is the side of the room the color side of the slat will face.

Color Faces Right
This is the side of the room the color side of the slat will face.

Comfortex Wand Control
This option will replace the cord and chain on the track and combine the tilt and draw function by using a wand.

Continuous Control Loop System
A continuous cord for raising and lowering the shade. This is a standard feature on Soft Sheer Horizontal shades.

Continuous Cord
Instead of a pull cord that will get longer as you lift the shade, the blind or shade will have a continuous cord loop. Recommended on large shades. This will add to the price of the product.

Continuous lift system
A continuous cord that is in a loop that will not get longer as you lift the shade. Provides easier operation.

Continuous loop
A continuous cord that will be in a loop so it will not get longer as the shade is raised.

Contractor Price
A discount will be given for large orders of 25 blinds or more. Contact customer service for details.

Controls & Stack on Left
Controls for the blind or shade will be on the left side. If it is a vertical, the blind will stack to the left towards the controls. There is no charge for this option.

Controls & Stack on Right
Controls for blind or shade will be on the right side. If it is a vertical, the blind will stack on the right, towards the controls.There is no charge for this option.

Cord Cleats
A small cleat that mounts on the wall to wrap a long pull cord up. There is no charge for this option.

Cord Tensioner
Used on vertical blinds to keep the cord tight. There is no charge for this and it comes standard with the blind.

Cord Tilt
The blind will be made with a cord tilter. This is what will be used to adjust the blinds slats. Pull the cord to open and close the slats. This is a standard option and is no extra charge.

Cordless (Check For Size Availability)
Treatment will not have a cord for lifting and lowering. It will be opperated using the bottom rail of the blind or shade. Do not use this option if you cannot reach the bottom of the treatment when it is all the way up. This will add to the price of the product.

Cordless w/ Lightmaster
Effortlessly operate the shade by pushing or pulling the bottom rail. No cords means safety for children and pets, and a clean look. Comes standard with Lightmaster routeless feature. Not available with cloth tapes or rounded corners.

Cordless With Cassette Headrail
This will add the cordless with cassette headrail option to the shade. A decorative cover (valance) for the cordless style shade. This will add to the price of the blind.

Cordless with Top Down/Bottom Up

If you want to combine the Top Down/Botom Up feature with the Cordless feature, you must select this option. Do not select the features separately as this will only delay your order and it will not be processed. There is an extra surcharge the manufacturer charges for selecting these two options together. Please do not try to avoid the surcharge by selcting these options separately because your order will not be processed. If these options are selected separately instead of selecting this option, it will only delay your order and it will not processed until we contact you to make this change.

Custom colors
With Nanik wood blinds you can choose a custom color. If you choose this option you will need to send us a sample of the color. This will also require more production time. There is no additional charge for this.

Cut Outs
The blind or shade will be cut out on the side to your specifications. Used in applications where tile or other obsticles are in the way. Measure how far up, and how far in the cut will be. There is a charge for this option.

Dark Mahogany
Fascia will be Dark Mahogany

Dauphine Valance
A matching Dauphine valance is included on all bali Sheer Enchantment blinds at no additional cost.

Dauphine Valance
The standard valance that comes with the Bali Sheer Enchantment blind.

de-Light (Routless)
Adds the Hunter Douglas de-Light routless feature to the blind.

Decorative Tapes
Cloth tapes are both decorative and add privacy. Decorative tapes come in an assortment of designer colors. Cloth tapes cover the holes in the slats and add an accent of color. This is an option that can be added for an additional charge.

Decorative Valance
This product comes with a standard valance. Valances vary by manufacturer. This option is for a decorative valance and will add to the price of your blind.

DesignLine Valance
Adds a tailored corner single valance to your order.

DevonWood Crown Valance
A valance upgrade for 2 Inch Devonwood blinds.

Devonwood Standard Valance
The standard matching valance that comes on DevonWood blinds.

DoorStyles Option? (Click Here)

This will add the door styles option to the Comfortex Shangri-La Shade. Shade will not have a lift cord, but instead a lever that opens and closes the shade. Designed exclusively for French doors, transoms and sidelights, Shangri-La DoorStyles provide a look of sheer perfection without a bulky headrail. The unique hardware system creates a maximum amount of view through while providing an easy lift function to open and close the Shangri-La vanes. DoorStyles are available with coordinating hardware sets to complement your door and window hardware. Colors available are White, Brass and Silver, specify color in comments section of shopping cart, if none is chosen, they will be White. There is no charge for this option.

Double Capital Valance
A valance upgrade for Bali Sheer Enchantment Sheer Vertical Blinds.

Dust Cover Valance
Optional standard dust cover valance.

E-Z Open (G-71 Headrail Only)
With any vertical blind, the louvers must be rotated open before the blind can be opened or closed. The E-Z Open option allows for automatic rotation of the louvers when the cord is pulled to open or close the blind. This option prevents damage to your Super-Vue headrail. Available on G-71 Super-Vue headrails only.

Easyrise (continuous cord right)
This will add the Easyrise (conyinous cord right) feature to the shade. This will add to the cost of the shade.

EasyRise (continuous cord)
This will add the Easyrise (continuous cord left) feature to the shade. This will add to the cost of the shade.

Elliptical
The shape of the slat is elliptical to look more like a shutter louver.

Email Address
We will only use your email address if there is a problem with this order and need to contact you. Decorating Depot will never sell, rent, or misuse you email address in any way.

European Style

This will add the European style roman option to your shade. By slecting this option your shade will be made as a European style roman. The fabric will waterfall from the front of the headrail, with no horizontal seams or stitching. The sides of the shade will curve upwards when the shade is raised, raising the fabric in soft, random folds. Please see specifications tab for more about this option. This will add to the price of the shade.

Even pleat
The pleats are spaced evenly so the shade does not have more pleats at the bottom than at the top. Makes for a more uniform look.

EverWood Valance
The Standard Valance that comes with the blind.

Fantasy Classic Flat Option
This will add the Fantasy Classic Flat option to the Roman Shade. With this option the roman folds will separate like a blind. Roman panels will have an open and closed function.

Fantasy Flat Option
This will add the Fantasy option to the Roman Shade. With this option the roman folds will separate like a blind. Roman panels will have an open and closed function.

Fantasy Teardrop Option
This will add the Fantasy option to the Roman Shade. With this option the roman folds will separate like a blind. Roman panels will have an open and closed function.

Finished Fascia With Finial
This will add a finished fascia with finial to your blind. If you choose this option you will need to specify what color and style of pole (colors and styles listed on product page) as well as what style finial you want in the special notes section of the shopping cart. This will be finished in either White, Oak or Cherry. This will add to the price of the blind.

Finished Fascia without finial
This will add a finished Fascia without finial to your blind. If you choose this option you will need to specify what color and style of pole (colors and styles listed on product page) in the special notes section of the shopping cart. This will be a finished fascia in either White, Oak or Cherry. This will add to the price of the blind.

Flat fabric
The fabric fold choices on a Roman Shade are either Flat or Teardrop shape. If you select this, your shade will be made as a flat shade.

Folding Panel Center Open
This will add the vertical folding panel center open option to your blind. This will add to the price of the blind.

G-71 Head Rail

The top-of-the-line G-71 Super-Vue features the patented pantograph traversing system to assure proportional spacing of louvers. G-71 Super-Vue is available in a smooth, anodized aluminum channel. Ball bearing pulleys in the control mechanism and PTFE self-lubricating Celcon wheels on every carriage allow for smooth traversing louvers. Clear stems provide a sleek appearance with both fabric and vinyl louvers. A patented adjustable bracket option makes installation even easier.

G-85
G-85 steel headrail that comes with all Graber verticals. You can upgrade to the G71 for an additional charge.

G-85 Dura-Vue Vertical Track
The standard track that comes with the Graber vertical blind

Graber 3 1/2 Inch Legacy valance
A valance upgrade for Graber Traditions standard 2 Inch wood blinds. This valance is included on Specialty and 3 Inch wood blinds at no additional charge.

Graber Composite Legacy Valance
Optional Graber valance upgrade for Composite Wood Blinds.

Graber Eloquence Valance
Optional valance upgrade for Graber Lake Forest blinds. This will add to the price of the blind.

Graber Fresco Valance
An optional valance can be ordered for Fresco Roman shades.

Graber Horizon Valance
A valance up-grade for Graber verticals. This will add to the price of the blind. Price is $5.00 per linear foot. (3 foot minimum).

Graber Lake Forest Standard Valance
The standard valance that comes with all Graber Lake Forst blinds.

Graber No Holes or Decorative Cloth Tapes Option
Graber No-Holes or Decorative Cloth Tapes Option will be added to your blind. (Options cannot be combined).

Graber No-Holes
This will add the "No-Holes" Option to your blind, it will add 20% to the price of your blind. (Decorative tapes cannot be combined with this option).

Graber Signature valance
The standard 2 1/2 inch valance that comes with the blind at no additional charge.

Grandover Valance
The 3 1/4" Grandover valance comes standard on this blind.

Havencrest Valance
One of 2 Cornice upgrades for Country Wood blinds. This is a 4 1/2" cornice.

headrail
The part that the blind or shade will hang from.

Height

Enter the height in the box. The height is the size vertically up and down, from top to bottom. If this is an inside mount, DO NOT take deductions or round off. Enter the exact height of the window to the nearest 1/8 of an inch. Exception: If you are ordering an outside mount, you will need to add the size of your window including over-hang and allowances for brackets. Please see measuring instructions for more information.

Hem Style 2 (click)
A hem style upgrade option. A color coordinated bias binding will be provided standard on all decorative hem styles unless a gimp binding is chosen. This will add to the price of the shade.

Hem style 3 (click)
A hem style upgrade option. A color coordinated bias binding will be provided standard on all decorative hem styles unless a gimp binding is chosen. This will add to the price of the shade.

Hem Style 4 (click)
A hem style upgrade option. A color coordinated bias binding will be provided standard on all decorative hem styles unless a gimp binding is chosen. This will add to the price of the shade.

Hem Style 5 (click)
A hem style upgrade option. A color coordinated bias binding will be provided standard on all decorative hem styles unless a gimp binding is chosen. This will add to the price of the shade.

Hem Style 6 (click)
A hem style upgrade option. A color coordinated bias binding will be provided standard on all decorative hem styles unless a gimp binding is chosen. This will add to the price of the shade.

Hexagon
The shade will be made in the shape of a Hexagon. A template will be required. This option will add to the price of your shade.

Hobbled Shade Option
Shade will retain the Roman (hobbled) pleat style even when lowered. This will add to the price of the shade.

Hold Downs (Outside Mount Only)
For blinds and shades that are mounted on doors. Hold downs are used to secure the blind or shade at the bottom, so it will not move around when the door is opened. There is no charge for this option.

Hunter Douglas 3 1/2 Valance
A valance upgrade option for Hunter Douglas Chalet Wood Blinds. This will add 10% to the price of the blind.

Inserted Headrail
Roller shades will come standard with no headrail. If you want to cover the roller and hardware, you will need to add the plain or decorative headrail option. This option is for the Inserted headrail option and will add a coordinated fabric to the headrail.This will add to the cost of the shade.

Inside Mount

The blind or shade will be mounted inside the window opening. The factory will take deductions in the width (and the height on verticals) of the blind or shade to fit within the window opening. The deduction will vary by product and manufacturer, but will be enough to allow for the blind to fit without rubbing the window frame. This is only a fraction of an in inch but will vary depending on product. For most products the deduction will be 1/4" per side, for a total of 1/2" deduction. Do not take your own deductions. Please refer to our measuring and installation instructions for more information. There is no charge for this.

Ivory Louver Insert
This is the color that the louver will be on the Bali Sheer Enchantment blind.

Kirsch Cordless w/ Privacy
Effortlessly operate the shade by pushing or pulling the bottom rail. No cords means safety for children and pets, and a clean look. Comes standard with Privacy routeless feature. Not available with cloth tapes or rounded corners.

Kirsch Privacy Feature
Edge Rout Design provides tighter closure to minimize light for increased privacy and security. Slats can easily be removed for cleaning. Privacy feature is an option on most 2" and 2 1/2" Kirsch wood blinds. (not available on 1" wood blinds.)

Kirsch Tailored Edge Binding
A decorative edge binding for the Woven Wood Shade. This will add to the price of the shade.

L-Frame
The L-frame is the frame that will come with the shutter unless you specify a different frame. Can be used as inside or outside.

L-Shaped Dust Cover Valance
Valance upgrade option for the ready made vertical blind. This will add to the price of the blind

Ladder Cords
Ladder cords are the small string like cords that the blind slat lays on. They are constructed like a ladder, so they are called 'ladder cords'.

Large Reeds Fascia
A Large Reeds fascia option for Comfortex Stardust Celestial sheers.

Left
This is the side the shade control will be on unless your shade is cordless.

Levolor 2 Inch Wood Valance
The standard valance that is included with Levolor 2 Inch wood blinds.

Levolor 2.5 Inch Wood Valance
The standard valance that comes on Levolor 2 1/2 Inch wood blinds.

Levolor Backstacker
With the Backstacker feature the stack stays at the edge of the window. This option is not available with the AutoWand feature.

Levolor Hem Style B
A hem Style for Levolor Roller Shades

Levolor Hem Style S
A levolor Roller Shade Hem Style.

Levolor Hem Style U

Light Blocking Vane Insert
Adds a light blocking insert to the fabric for room darkening and extra privacy.

Light Weaves Standard Valance
A valance option is available for this product. A square corner PVC valance with matching fabric. Do not choose this option if you picked the cassette headrail option, as the cassette headrail takes the place of the valance. This will add to the price of the shade.

Lightmaster Hidden Holes Feature
This feature will add the Lightmaster feature to the blind. Cord holes are postioned near the top of the slat & become hidden when blind is closed.

Literise (cordless)
This will add the Literise (cordless) feature to the shade. This will add to the cost of the shade

Long Projection Bracket
Extension brackets used to project the treatment out. (extends the headrail 3 1/2 inches from the wall) There will be a small charge for these.

Motorization (battery)
Adds (Battery) motorization to the blind or shade. This requires no wiring. A remote control will be needed also. This will add to the price of the blind or shade.

Motorization (Hard Wired)
This will add (hard wired) Motorization to the blind or shade. This will require wiring and possibly an electrician. A remote control will be needed also. This will add to the price of the blind or shade.

Motorization (Tilt Only)
This is an option that will add motorization to your blind. This is a battery opperated motor, and will require no wiring. If you chose this option, you will need to order a remote as well. You will only need one remote no matter how many blinds that you decide to add motorization to, as long as the motorized blinds are from the same manufacturer. There is a charge for this option.

Multi-colored
This is an option to add more than one color to a blind.

Name of Room
Enter the room this blind will be installed in. Example: Bed room, kitchen, etc.

Nanik Crown-Mold Valance
One of the valances for Nanik wood verticals. There is no additional charge for this option.

Nanik Four-Bead Wood Valance
One of the valance options for Nanik wood verticals. There is no addtional charge for this option.

Nanik Streamlined Valance
The standard valance that comes with the blind unless another valance is selected.

Nanik Windswept Option
The Windswept option will add a sandblasted finish to the blind. This option is available on any color, standard or custom. (Winswept effect will change the color, it is recomended that you ask for a free sample of what this will look like in the color of your choice).

Natural
The fascia will be unfinished (natural) in color.

No Fascia (standard valance)
No fascia will be added, blind will come with standard valance. There is no charge for this.

No Headrail
Shade will have no headrail.

No Special Stack (No Charge)
Only check one of the choices above if you want an opposite stack or center stack blind. Otherwise please proceed to the next screen leaving this as the default setting. Selecting one of the choices above will add that option to your blind.

No Valance or Fascia
Your blind will have no valance or fascia. You will need to select either a valance or a fascia if you want one.

Non-Perfect Arch Surcharge
There will be a surcharge for imperfect arches and a template will be required. A perfect arch will be half as tall as it is wide. Example of a perfect arch would be 36X18 (36 inches wide and 18 inches tall). If your window is not perfect, you will need to order it as an non-perfect arch and include a template with the order. Please call customer service for the address to mail the template to.

Not Cordless
Shade will have clutch roller lift.

Oak
The Fascia will be stained Oak

Octagon
The shade will be made in the shape of a Octagon. A template will be required. This option will add to the price of your shade.

One way
The blind will all traverse to the left or right when pulled back.

One-Way with Controls Left
The blind will draw in one direction to the left, towards the controls.

One-Way with Controls Right
The blind will draw in one direction to the right towards the controls.

Opposite Stack (one-way only)
When the blind is traversed it will traverse in the opposite direction of the controls. This would be used in applications where one side may be obstructed and hard to get to. This will add to the price of the blind.

Outside Mount

The blind or shade will be mounted outside the window opening. The factory will not take deductions in the width of the blind or shade. Used for applications where there is no inside dimension of the window. Usually used for sliding glass doors, french doors or other windows that an inside mount will not be possible. Please refer to our measuring and installation instructions for more information. There is no charge for this.

Overlay
A fabric that is overlayed on another fabric. Usually a lace type. This will add to the price of the shade.

Oversized
Blinds or shades that exceed the size that can be made as one blind or shade. All products have maximum widths that will vary by product and manufacturer. Blinds over 90 inches will incur a shipping charge.

Perfect Arch
If the arch is a perfect (half as high as it is wide example 36 X 18) arch choose this setting, if not select non-perfect arch and send in template.

Plain Headrail
Roller shades will come standard with no headrail. If you want to cover the roller and hardware, you will need to add the plain or decorative headrail option. This will add to the cost of the shade.

Power Rise
Adds Power Rise lift to the shade. This will add to the price of the shade.

Powertilt (Motorized)
Adds motorization to blind. A remote control will also be needed.

Prestige 1 Inch Wood Valance
The standard valance for this blind. There is no valance upgrade for this blind.

Prestige 3000 Series Track
A track upgrade for Prestige vertical blinds.

Prestige Crown Royale Valance
A valance upgrade for the Prestige 2 inch blinds. Valance is smooth, even if the slats are embossed or sandblasted.

Prestige Lift System (not available on routless)
This option will add the Prestige Lift System to your blind, this will add to the price of the blind. This is a continuous cord loop for raising and lowering the blind, instead of a regular pull cord.

Prestige Monarch Valance
A valance upgrade for Prestige Doverwood faux wood blinds. This option will add to the price of the blind.

Prestige Standard Fauxwood Valance
This is the standard valance that comes with the blind at no additional charge. Upgraded valances are available for an additional charge.

Prestige Standard Vertical Valance
Matching Valance option for Prestige vertical blinds. Valance will match the material of the vertical chosen.

Prestige Standard Wood Valance
The standard Valance that comes with the blind.

Privacy Liner
Select this option to add a privacy liner to the shade. This will add to the price of the shade.

Privacy Option
Adds Privacy Option to the blind. Slats will have hidden rout holes when blinds are closed for maximum privacy and light control.

These are the restrictions, specifications, and any special information for this product.

Pull Cord (standard)
The cord that is used to lift the treatment. This will be standard unless another option is selected. There is no charge for this option.

Pull Ring
Add a Ivory or White Pull Ring to your shade. Please specify Ivory or White in the Special notes section of the shopping cart at the time of order.

PVC Channel Backing (fabric only)
This option will add PVC Channel Backing to fabric vertical blind slats. This option is only for fabric vertical blinds and will add to the cost of the blind.

Radius Corners
The end of the slats will be rounded. This will add to the price of the blind.

railroad
The fabric will be turned 90 degrees sideways. Keep in mind that if there is a pattern on the fabric, the pattern will change. This will need to be done for shades exceeding the fabric width. If fabric exceeds maximum size, there will be a visable seam. There is no charge for this.

Regal Finial
A Regal Finial for the end of the fascia.

Regular (towards glass)
The shade will roll towards the glass. There is no charge for this option.

Remote Control
Remote control for motorized blinds and shades. You will only need one remote, no matter the number of blinds you decide to add motorization to, as long as the blinds that are motorized are from the same manufacturer. There is a charge for this option.

Return Finial
A Return Finial will be added to the Fascia

Reveal Magnaview
Reveal with MagnaView revolutionizes the look of metal blinds by creating twice the view-through of ordinary blinds. It looks like a standard blind when closed but, when tilted open, the slats nest together to create double the view-through the 1" slat opens to a view-through comparable to a 2" slat product, and the 2" slat opens to a view-through comparable to a 4" slat product.

Reverse (away from glass)
The shade will roll away from the glass. There is no charge for this option.

RF Shangri-La Motorization
Adds a radio frequency battery operated motor to the shade for tilting, lowering and raising. This will add to the price of the shade.

Right
This is the side the shade control will be on unless your shade is cordless.

Right Side Cut Outs
Blind will be cut out on Right side. This feature is used if there is tile in the way.

Rollease Clutch System
A continuous cord clutch option. This will add to the price of the shade.

Rolled European Hem
The standard hem on the Bali Sheer Enchantment Sheer Vertical.

Roman style
The fold of a woven wood when it is raised. (shown with optional banding)

Room Darkening Louvers
This feature will add a room darkening insert to the Harmany louvers to make them room darkening. This feature will add 25% to the price.

Rounded Corner Slats
This option will add rounded corners to the ends of the slats for wood blinds. There is no charge for this option.

Routless
Routless blinds will have no holes in the slats. Instead there will be a small notch on the front and back of the slat. This will give you extra light blockage, as well as additional privacy. This option will add to the price of the blind.

Royal Decorative Wood Valance
The standard valance that comes on all Decorating Depot Wood blinds

RTS-1 Channel Remote
Remote will operate as many motorized shades as needed, but not independently of each other, For independent remote control you will need the 5-channel remote.

RTS-5 Channel Remote
Remote control for operating up to 5 shades independent of each other.

S-Curve Slats
This option will add S-Curved shaped slats to your blind. This will add 15% to the cost of the blind.

Sandblasted
Sandblasted is a process that brings out the true grain and texture of a wood blind by sandblasting the wood slat.

Scallop Hem
A decorative hem that can be added to woven wood. Available in 3 styles. This option will add to the price of the shade.

Serenade Designer Valance
Designer Valance option. A 6" high matching fabric valance. This will add to the price of the shade.

Sewn In Weights (fabric only)
Weights will be sewn into a pocket at the bottom of the slat instead of having chain and clips. This is for free-hanging fabric only. There is no charge for this.

Shade Control on Left
Controls for the shade will be on the left. There is no charge for this.

Shade Control on Right
Shade control will be on the right. There is no charge for this.

Shade Control Timer
This option will add a timer to the shade for motorized shades. The timer will allow you to set times that the shade will open and close.

ShadowLine Valance
Adds a Double ShadowLine valance to your order.

Sheer Enchantment Drapery Hem
Sheer Enchantment blinds come standard with an European hem style. This will add a drapery style hem to the blind. This will add to the price of the blind.

The blind will open from the middle and stack at each end when traversed.

Blind will split at the middle when drawn and controls will be on the right.

Spring Roller
This is the standard roller that is used on roller shades. It is spring loaded and will roll the shade up when the shade is pulled on. It is included in the spring roller price list.

Springs Composite Wood Valance
The valance that comes standard with the blind.

Springs faux wood valance
The valance that comes standard with the blind.

Springs wood valance
The standard valance that comes with the blind. It will be in a matching color of the wood blind. There is no additional charge for this.

Stack at Center
When the blind is traversed it will stack in the center of the window. This would be used in applications where there are windows on each end that open. This will add to the price of the blind.

Stack to Left
When the blind is traversed it will stack to the left, and the controls will be on the left. There is no charge for this option.

Stack to Right
When the blind is traversed it will stack to the right, and the controls will be on the right. There is no charge for this option.

Stainless Steel Hinges
This will add the option of Stainless Steel Hinges to your order. The standard hinge color matches the shutter color. This will increase the cost of your order.

Standard Color Coordinated Bias Binding
No special gimp binding will be added. Will come with bias color coordinated binding.

Standard Extension Brackets

Sun Up/Sun Down
Two different fabrics on the same blind. Gives the option of having a light filtering and a room darkening shade all in one shade.

S_Curved PVC Slats
The slats for the vertical blinds will be S-Curved instead of the traditional curved PVC.

Tandem Extended Life Battery
This will add a Tandem extendende life duel battery to your order. This battery has a life of up to 5 years (depending on use). The motorized shade comes standard with a single wand Lithium battery pack with a 3 year life (dependin on use). This will add to the price of the shade.

Tear Drop
The shape of the folds in the fabric on roman shades.

Tile cut outs
If the window has tile or other things such as molding that will obstruct the blind from being lowered all the way, you will need to have the blind or shade cut out to fit around the obstruction.

Tilt on Left
Tilt control will be on the left side of the blind. (wand or cord) There is no charge for this option.

Tilt on Right
Tilt control will be on the right side of the blind. (wand or cord) There is no charge for this option

Top Down Only

Trapezoid
The shade will be made in the shape of a Trapezoid. A template will be required. This option will add to the price of your shade.

Trapezoid Bottomrail
The standard bottomrail is rectangular. A trapezoid bottom rail can be used instead for an addtional charge.

UltraGlide
Adds UltraGlide lift System to shade. This will add to the price of the shade

UltraSleek Head rail

The UltraSleek Head rail is white aluminum with a matching fabric insert. UltraSleek has a minimal light gap and is standard on all shades up to 84 inches wide and 84 inches in length. * Please note, if there is more than one shade ordered and one is over sized, the whole order will be made with the standard head rail for a uniform look. The dimensions of the UltraSleek headrail are 2 5/8" in depth and 2 11/16" in height. Standard Headrail is 3 1/8" in depth and 2 3/4" in height.

Under Size Shades
Shades under 12 inches wide will have a surcharge and will have no controls of any kind, they will be stationary panels.

Under-Size Blinds
Under-Size Blinds (12 inches and under) will have surcharge and be made as tilt only with no Lift Cord. By selecting this feature, you are acknowledging that you are aware that this is the way the blind will be made.

Unfinished Fascia With Finial
This will add an unfinished fascia with finial to your blind. If you choose this option you will need to specify what style of pole (styles listed on product page) as well as what style finial you want in the special notes section of the shopping cart. This will be an unfinished natural color. This will add to the price of the blind.

Unfinished Fascia Without Finial
This will add a Custom unfinished Fascia without finials to your blind. If you choose this option you will need to specify what style of pole (styles listed on product page) you want in the special notes section of the shopping cart. This will be an unfinished natural color. This will add to the price of the blind.

Valance Returns
Used on outside mount applications. The part on the side of the valance that covers the side of the blind headrail and hardware. There is no charge for this, and it comes standard with outside mount blinds.

valance-free
The valance-free headrail is a matching curved headrail that requires no valance because the brackets are hidden.

Vectora Blackout Fabric * Check Availability
Fabrics denoted with an * are available in a Vectora blackout fabric for a surcharge of 35%. Only the fabrics with an * are available as a blackout fabric. (If you are ordering a blackout style fabric sample you will need to specify that you would like the blackout style in the special notes section of the shopping cart)

Vertical Blind Motorization
Adds motorization (rotate only, does not draw the blind) to the vertical. You will need at least one remote also (only one remote is needed, no matter how many blinds you have that are motorized).

Vertical Fold Valance
Adds a valance to the vertical folding shade. This will add to the price of the blind.

Vertical Track
The headrail that the blind louvers hang from. Operates the blind.

Vertical Wand (Not available on split draw)
An option for vertical blinds to replace the cord and chain control with a wand.

Vertiglide Blackout Fabric
Upcharge for Hunter Douglas Blackout fabric on Vetiglide blinds.

Vertiglide Split Stack
Vertiglides come standard as a one-way draw. Split draw is available for a 30% surcharge.

Vertiglide Stratford Valance
A valance option for vertiglide blinds. A crown alternative wood valance (only available in color Sugar Pine from the Everwood colors) There is no additional charge for this.

Vertiglide Sydney Valance
The standard valance that comes on all Vertiglide blinds. This a color coordinted aluminum valance.

Wand Tilt
The blind will be made with a wand tilter. This is what will be used to adjust the blinds slats. Twist the wand to open and close the slats. This will be the standard control on all 1/2 inch and 1 inch blinds. You will need to select this option on all other blinds. Some blinds are not available in wand tilt. There is no charge for this option.

Wand Tilt Only
This product is available in wand tilt only. Cord tilt not available.

warpage
A slight bowing or bending of the slat. This is not a defect.

White
The fascia will be painted white.

White Louver Insert
This is the color that the louver will be on the Bali Sheer Enchantment blind.

Width

Enter the width in the box. The width is the size horizontally from left to right where the blind will be mounted. If this is an inside mount DO NOT take deductions or round off. Enter the exact width of the window to the nearest 1/8 of an inch. The factory will take all deductions for an inside mount and this will vary by product. Most inside mount deductions are 1/2" allowing 1/4" per side for clearance. This is standard on all inside mounts, outside mounts have no deductions. Exception: If you are ordering an outside mount, you will need to add the size of your window including over-hang and allowances for brackets. Please see measuring instructions for more information.

Windermere Valance
One of 2 Cornice upgrades for Country wood blinds. This is a 4 1/2" cornice.
